I had the same problem as an artist too -- haha, I STILL have the same problem but I find that something that helps me frame my "brand" is to ask people (friends and people who've worked with me) what my "vibe" is. I got this suggestion from a business contact of mine and some of the answers were surprising and some of them were very revealing. This one woman said I was a young person with a wise soul, for example. I was really touched and it made me realize that I listen to people a lot more than most people my age (early twenties). Seems to be a strength that has helped me a lot in my work! It might not solve ALL your problems but it might be a good start! Hey Jill!
